Currently Russian Visa Сenters are not accepting any visa applications from any nationality except Canadians.

Canadians only can apply for a work/ business visa or private visa if being invited by the spouse and will require approval from the Russian Ministry of Interior.

Please make sure that application forms are not printed on double-sided paper.

Applicant must upload a copy of their tourist voucher/invitation and passport copy to their profile after applying.
Additional requirements for applicants born in the former USSR or Russia
Applicants MUST submit the following documents:

Evidence of emigration. Original copy of old passport and stamps showing date of emigration. If applicant emigrated on a parent's passport, then parents’ emigration papers must be submitted, including copies of passport pages showing the children included in their passport.
Naturalization Certificate. Original copy of the applicant's Naturalization Certificate.
Renunciation Certificate. Original copy of the Certificate of Renunciation of Citizenship from the Russian Embassy (if available).

The embassy may request additional documents and a personal interview, at their discretion.

Russia tourist visa is required for citizens of United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, at this time VisaHQ does not provide service for tourist visas to Russia.

  • Check the current validity of your passport and the availability of blank visa pages

    All travelers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Russia. However, we strongly recommend traveling with 6 months validity on your passport at all times. Citizens of Canada can refer to for forms and instructions for new passport applications and Canadian passport renewals. Most destinations, including Russia, require that you have adequate unused pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel. Canadian citizens cannot add extra passport pages to their passports. Please refer to for forms and instructions for Canadian passport renewals.

  • Contact the nearest embassy or consulate of Russia

    Take advantage of our extensive embassy and consular database to find the nearest one. Upon contacting the embassy confirm the required documents, the time it takes to process the visa and whether the consulate accepts applications by mail.
